It was the third training in Amsterdam for 14 dutch women and men, originally from Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somalia. After being trained they will advocate for abandonment of FGM and will carry out activities to promote behaviour change within their FGM-practicing communities in The Netherlands.
The focus of this training was on Communication Skills and How to talk about FGM.

The facilitator Marthine Bos illustrated e.g. on a model of the female abdomen the various kinds of Female Genital Mutilation and their severe health and reproductive consequences.
